Basildon Council were looking for a Health and Safety Advisor recently, you could try SVC Group or Shirley Parsons also for any jobs they are overseeing.

San, as my previous post, have a look at companies like SVC group, Shirley Parsons, SHP Jobs have jobs in Essex advertised quite often.

...and it should also be noted that jobs are scarce at this time of year as firms tend not to recruit over the Christmas period.  Things therefore are (even ?) quieter than usual on the employment front unfortunately.

Try Indeed web site - lots of health and safety jobs on there.

Lots of jobs or lots of adverts for the same job.

Quite often 1 job is circulated by lots of recruitment agencies.

I used to note websites like Indeed, Reed, Hays etc had jobs advertised for vacancies that have long since taking applications. They keep jobs 'live' on their websites to make them look busy and have lots of supposed jobs - to encourage people to register with them.

Remember always treat recruitment agencies with a large dose of caution. Promise the earth and deliver little, in my experience.
