Morning all, I'm having a bit of a brain functionality failure and can't find any sharps bins for non-clinical waste (stanley knife blades, etc.) in sizes of around 2ltr. The only sharps bins I can find through our usual suppliers have "clinical waste for incineration" written all over them, which will raise questions with our waste contractors. I've purchased some a few years ago but of course I can't remember where from. I blame having a baby in the house!
What products do you fine people use?
Thanks in advance. Keith

No association with the supplier just happens to have been a solution at one employment https://www.arco.co.uk/products/5515517?s=1
You can also get the clinical versions without the label if you ask. Having had a similar "not clinical" discussion with our waste handler they agreed any suitable container that could be secured and marked up to identify the content to their staff. We had the advantage of packing 2 litre snap ring paint tins so a simple slot in the lid and a "used stanley blade" label on the side.

I love the description of a 'brain functionality failure', which I can identify with. Must remember this description (if I can).

It's happening with increasing regularity.
