My company has decided we should have a defibrillator on site

So now I need to buy a defibrillator.

I know relatively little about them, don't have an established equipment supplier that is specialist at this (though it's conceivable one of our equipment suppliers could sell me one).  Can anyone advise any good criteria for choosing a supplier and/or a particular AED model?

We are an office of about 130 people, office work, no particularly vulnerable groups.

We would be open to registering it as available for public use (there is no other within about two miles, as far as I can determine), though it would be kept inside, not a public access external cabinet, so would only be available in office hours, if that's relevant.

I once had a similar quandary & therefore contacted my local ambulance service.

Not only were they able to recommend a suitable make/model, but they also came in & carried out the training for free!

We require defibs installed across all of our sites.

A popular supplier is the defibshop.co.uk. They supply a Lifesine SAM Pad 360P fully automatic defib for £695 or an alternate £1 per day lease option.

Hope this helps.

Look on the British Heart Foundation website - everything you need to know will be on there, they do special schemes for industry for Defib and CPR equipment and training.    https://www.bhf.org.uk/h...place.
