Hello All,
As a business we would like to celebrate good health and safety at work. This does not mean its just around being LTI free, but any kind of good work or practices that creates H&S benefit.
We already do: -
- an LTI free award for sites that achieve LTI free status each year (we are very strict on under reporting!)
- vouchers for quality near miss submissions which are awarded by our H&S committees for employees who have raised in the last month (£20)
- best practice awards for H&S improvement projects (£500 for best submission in the quarter)
So, I don't think we are doing to badly, but is anybody else out there doing anything different?
Your thoughts would be very welcome.

We do something similar for outstanding performance or initiatives, generally using vouchers for on line shopping. Once a quarter the MD will select the site which has been the most proactive and had the most staff involvement in H&S and take all the guy's and sit with them for breakfast in the canteen
