In brief - I'm after a Motivational Speaker that has been involved in a farm injury.

Yet again, another farmer has died carrying out his normal duties I was alerted to yesterday by a very good friend who is heavily involved in the farming community and is the chair of the local agricultural show  This has got to stop, we cant carry on like this. Highest statistics in deaths and injuries up there with construction industry and we lose another fellow man, that isn't going home to his family.

We are putting together a package to deliver to local farmers and their workers. Its early days, but we have a local business man who has volunteered to be a sponsor. We have support from the agricultural show committee which last year attracted over 12,000 people. As I said my fiend is the chair of that committee, he  approached me as a qualified Health & Safety Practitioner. So we've got a really good team developing here to develop this package. Part of this is to have a motivational speaker.

Does anybody know a motivational speaker that has been involved in a farming accident? I know there are quite a few motivational speakers, like Ken Woodward, Jason Anker to name a few, but I specifically want one that can relate to the farming community and get the message across.

You never know, if this takes off we want to promote it across the country.

Thank you for your suggestion, good idea. I have sent an email to BBC Countryfile, hoping they will respond.

I did get an automated email from them explaining about the amount of emails they get each week and not being able to respond to each one. Here's hoping they can for this one.
