Kier construction have issued a SHEA alert around a scaffolder being fined £172 by the HSE for not being clipped on during a scaffold erection.
Kier and the scaffold company did not get any retribution.
I have phoned Kier who and the contact there was aware of the SHEA but not the detail and I am awaiting further response.
Is any connections aware of this, or anyone working for Kier, can you find out? I am trying to stop speculation and need the facts.
I have the SHEA if anyone wants to see it before comment.

Are you sure it's a HSE fine imposed by the courts-it's a bit small (£172) and it would barely cover any costs to the HSE. Was it a 'fine' imposed by the PC or even the client?

Surely just a fee for intervention?
1 hour 20 mins to send a letter at £129/hour (before 6th April), invoice sent out May or July
I have heard others call the FFI a fine.

If they are self employed then I suppose they HSE could be issued them the bill under FFI but the original post give the impression that this was a personal fine.

No, not self employed or the duty holder so no FFI can apply plus self employed are exempt if they are only putting themselves at risk.
I am happy to email the SHEA if you wanna see it.
Kier are not forthcoming with any information at the moment.
