Good Morning All,

I have been asked to help with the SHE questions for a tender and this is the first time I have done it. The question I am struggling with is below. I am thinking of taking all those I can find in the pre con information and placing into a risk register of sort, then listing the control measures we expect to implement? Is this the sort of thing you would write. Its my first attempt at this and want to get it right! Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

What is your technical and managerial approach for dealing with the risks associated with the works, including those specified in the health and safety plan issued with the tender documents?

My reaction to the question is that they are asking for the 'approach', not a detailed list of individual risks and management methods. This makes sense as you could not be able to list every risk that will arise during the project nor the individual management techniques. So my approach would be to described the actual risk assessment and management strategies that would be an integral part of the proposal.

I concur with Chris. Looking at the question I would be explaining how we approach and record risk assessments. How we review them. How we allocate resources. An overview of the mangerial strucutre relating to who is repsonsible for what in regards to carrying out the H&S policy. That sort of thing.
