Hi, The NEBOSH Diploma would feel like the next step, but it is a noticable step up and while it is often a requirement on job adverts you may find that it is too indepth for your current role or maynot? Another consideration is going sideways and looking at a similar level the to certifcate but with more focus and that way tailor it to your current role? or... maybe think about an environmental course to supplement the H&S, a lot of jobs and roles are Health, Safety and Environment (HSE or EHS).

It probably is too much for my current role however if may not be for future roles. I think the fire one may be the next logical step because the sites i currently work on do pose fire risks. Is there any Enviromental courses you could recomend?

The IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management is the one that I went for. It's accredited and manageable and gives an introduction to sustainability issues. IEMA is the environmental equivalent of IOSH and they accredit a variety of courses, some of which might be more suitable for you depending on your background, circumstances and ambitions, so it's worth looking at the descriptions on their website.
