Hi 

I  have ionising equipment on site. Its low exposure xray line.

Do i need appoinment of  experienced Radiation Protectin Advisor or will be enough to train person to be competent Radiation Protection Supervisor.

In the absence of other contributions, I reckon you need advice from a Radiation Protection Advisor to find out what you need.

Public Health England are a good starting point, they also do training.

Hi,

I agree with SNS below; you need advice from an RPA first. You'll need them to evaluate the equipment, do a risk assessment and set up Local Rules for the use of the equipment. Get yourself trained (or someone else that's suitable) as an RPS. Training for users is also key.
