Hi All,
Google is failing me today. What qualification or evidence of training would you expect an Engineer to hold to carry out work on a pressure vessel. Much like Gas Safe, City and Guilds for sparkies etc
Thank you

We just use the one reccommended by our insurance provider. Looking back through our records (I have only been in this role for a year) it seems the common denominator is they are all BCAS registered. Looking into that though, I can't see that the BCAS require any formal qualification to join!

Academical qualifications - ONC/HNC in mechanical engineering. Depending upon depth/type of maintenance and resultant technical decision making.
PSSR regs give guidance on qualifications
