Good morning all,

I am looking for a Elearning training provider that provides training packages on a licence per user basis.  Ideally, the courses need to be Rospa approved.

We are looking for a package for upto 500 people so it's got to be cost effective.

Would it be possible if you could recommend any suitable providers that you've used.

Also I would be interested in software/platforms where you can design your own Elearning packages.

Best Regards

SG

What sort of subjects and why ROSPA approved?  The field of H&S is fairly wide and you probably want to refine your question a bit.

There are also other providers such as BSC and if your company have registration with them you have a number of free licences anyway..

Try Learning Nexus. They provide a range of off the shelf courses that are RoSPA accredited. They also will also develop bespoke courses I believe.

I have used a company called Safety Media Ltd for E-Learning training for all EHS requirements. The majority of the courses were ROPSA approved and they also have the facility to provide bespoke training as well, either through themselves or with an editor function as part of one of the packages they offer.

As they host the learning, it removes the need for bespoke IT systems and also allows for the content to be updated as and when legislation is updated.

You can buy the licenses through them and use these as required. I purchased this for a facility of 350+ which was then adopted for another two with the same amount of personnel. Usual cost profile, the more you buy the cheaper it gets.

Hope this helps

Try Commodious, i have a Construction H&S package of 14 courses, 11 of which are ROSPA approved, it cost me £42 and they can be done over a year, each lesson lasts about 15minutes,  has an exam at the end and once passed a certificate is issued (with ROSPA logo) to prove you passed.

Safety Media, Ihasco, Hays all provide e-learning packages as described by other replies.

The drawback, in my opinion, is that there is very little 'push and pull' to check understanding or the interaction found on shared training. We use these packages but back them up with 'live' sessions and some practical application.
