Our crane company need to lift a load over a live (33kv) transformer.

Are there any minimum clearance guidance?

I know that GS6 and AIS08 address overhead power line clearance but I can't find anything that refers to safe clearances over live transformers.

WHy isn't the GS6 guidance still suitable and the electrical safety principles? The electrical hazard remains the same - close proximity to 33kv electrical supplies.

You could always contact National Grid or one of the other electrical supply compamies for guidance.
