Would protective coverings used during the construction stage (normally LPS 1207) marked with warrington certification scheme be just as effective and accepted by insurers?

Thanks in advance.

LPS 1207 is for internal temporary protective coverings https://www.redbooklive.com/filelibrary/Misc/1207-and-1215-The-Facts-Final.pdf

Warrington Fire is one of several test houses for flammability and Reaction to Fire testing against Britsh Standards and/or Europen Norm.

Whether an insurer would accept a certificate depends upon which standard / norm the material had been tested to and if it were appropriate to the material in its application i.e. it had an equivalence to LPS 1207.

Insurers seem very wary at the moment and test houses are insisting upon re-testing materials rather than assessing previously issued reports.

You should really ask your insurers direct....LPS1207 is temporary covering and only for external PFP...
