One of our electrical contractors is claiming that there is a delay with renewing ECS Cards for a period in excess of 6 weeks in some cases.

Have contacted ECS and they have replied stating that they will reply within 14 days!!!!

Anyone have any ifmormation regarding this matter?

Never had an issue with getting cards renewed for any of my engrs.

We had a new contract recently and part of the T&C's was a DBS no older than 6 weeks. A bit of googling and it turns out that there are companies claiming to turn around an enhanced DBS check with 24-48hrs. I've pointed HR in their direction and we'll see if they can produce the goods
