Glucagon is a POM, so only the person who needs it would be able to have the prescription and obtain one and then only for their use so would not be able to leave it at work for administration just in case.

That would seem to be the way to answer back about the legal requirement bit.

It is however is covered in the  exemption under schedule 19 of The Human Medicines regulations 'Medicinal products for parenteral administration in an emergency' the same as Adrenaline in an autoinjector

Though other than provision for close relatives of someone with diabetes I have not yet found anywhere that offers training for the lay person.

Other provisions for schools similar to inhalers and AAI's are being looked at.
