I am wanting to outsource a fire risk assessment of a medium sized office building with labs.

So I thought, I know, I will look on the register of fire risk assessors which I've heard of to find some suitable providers.

Then I got confused because there appear to be more than one register.

So which register (or other method of finding someone suitable) would you recommend?

The IFE or IFSM registers are reasonable in terms of the route you have to take to be on it

The Fire Safety Federation have a detailed guide which is downloadable from the bottom of this page on the LFB website

Good luck 👍

We generally use BAFE, the SP205 accreditation covers risk assessment, as we use companies accredited to BAFE for other fire safety services.
