I have accepted the position of Health, Safety & Environmental officer with a civil engineering company (utilities & general Construction), within the North - East Region. However this did not result from the careers forum.
I would like to thank paul craythorne for his words of encouragement MANY MOONS AGO (cheers). Paul my string had 1300 hits and not one job offer, another record maybe !
Just a further few lines of encouragement to those who are seeking alternative employment or their first safety position.
Don't give up, your perserverance and dedication will pay dividends, ultimately rewarding you as I HAVE BEEN REWARDED !

Congratulations. I hope you have found the position your perseverence deserves. !300 hits without an offer may well prove to be a record.
I have been employed now for over 3 months in a position I responded to rather than a position that responded to me on the forum.
The only hints of job offers that came to me from the forum were from companies who wanted to pay a pittance.
