Posted By Ken Taylor Does anyone know of a good video or other training package on the above - suitable for training, caretakers, care assistants, kitchen staff, etc in the general principles of preventing infection and dealing with spillages and the like?

Posted By Diane Warne I haven't seen them, but food safety videos are advertised on www.cmmedia.co.uk. You could also try asking the Royal Institute of Public Health & Hygiene for advice, www.riphh.org.uk.

Posted By Ken Taylor Thankyou for your response Diane. I have now obtained Safety Media's video 'Food Safety: The Facts' - which seems reasonable for refresher training of our catering staff. However, this only deals with actual food safety (HACCP, etc) and not the other aspects of good hygiene practice and controlling infection for both catering and other categories of staff in schools, care and nursing homes, etc. The hunt continues!
