I am currently serving in the HM Forces (Royal Engineers) and have a wealth of H&S experience within the Army. I hold the NEBOSH General Certificate and also have HNC in building studies and CITB Construction Site Managers Safety Certificate.

As part of my transition from military to civilian life I am hoping to gain some experience in the civilian world of Health and Safety.

If there is anyone out there who can offer me any help for 1 day a week and possibly weekends I would be grateful.

I live near Junction 28 M1 with own transport.

A CV can be forward on request.

Hi Andrew,

Just a quick message from one ex- Royal Engineer to another. First of all, Sorry but I can't offer any work experience as I live a bit further up north, but it may be worth trying to contact construction industry safety teams. As your background within RE will most probably involve construction it would be worthwhile defining those skills to relate to the outside world.
If you need any contact names and numbers let me know, i Have a few that may help you get kick started. Please e-mail me direct as I don't want to display personnel info within this forum.
cheers
Paul
