Hi Anita,

I work for DMW Safety (occ hygiene and asbestos testing consultancy) and do noise testing UK-wide.

I can do you an assessment working out personal exposures, plant surveys, octave band analysis, hearing protection assessment and general recommendations.

Credentials-wise, we noise consultants here have MIOSH, RSP and noise assessment specific modules.

reply back or drop me an email if you are interested.

Hi

I work for a company called Manatec Developments Ltd, who work on a national and international basis. Manatec can provide cost effective solutions to support your hearing conservation programme, which would consist of the following:

Initial site inspection,
Full noise assessment inclusive of personal dose, octave band etc
Ear defender suitability
Industrial Audiometry Screening

All our reports follow HSE Guidance and comply with current legislation, they also give guidance on compliance with the new Physical Agents EC Directive which should be introduced next year.

Our trained and competent noise assessors and audiologists will be more than happy to assist you.

Please email me or give me a call – 01472 344144

Jim

I have recently obtained a quotation for a noise survey from Environmental Evaluation.

I have not made a decision yet as I need to obtain comparative estimates. However they were very prompt in their response and also offer other H&S consultancy services.

Try NEMS (info@n-e-m-s.com) 01325 255187. Not in the NW but I understand they travel all over.
