Posted By colin I dont know of any funding but if you attend a local further education college for the course , the cost is approx £240 inclusive, takes one school year. If you use a private company you will spending £1000+ but you get the exam quicker. Personally I chose the F.E.college and I'm enjoying it and it was affordable. check out the nebosh website for the list of providers in your area, the local colleges will have their website details listed on there, then just check their website or phone them. good luck colin

Posted By Darby Allan Why not try Distance Learning? - Rapid Results, ACT, CHSS, Woodland Grange and others do distance learning packages at significantly less than the taught version (on par with the college prices). Darby

Posted By Stephen Boardman Half the battle with H&S is trying to influence and convince managers to change the way they look at and do things H&S wise. Try and convince your management that it is in their best interest to pay for or assist payment for your NGC....... It will be good practise. Good luck SB

Posted By Terry Smyth If you are a member of a trade union associated with the TUC, why don't you embark on the TUC Certificate of Occupational Safety and Health? all free of charge, which may enable you to gain Tech SP status within IOSH Regrads Terry
