Posted By Gareth Campbell Please can someone help me find that all elusive job in H+s. I have NEBOSH nat gen but no longer have any H+S responsibility at work. Should I go down the TUC safety advisor route or keep getting rejected at interview for not having the right experience until someone takes pity on me? Please help.......

Posted By John Lynch Dear Gareth, Health & Safety is an applied science and therefore you need to apply the principles to manage it. Use your own experience to do this. John Lynch. BSc MIOSH RSP

Posted By Adam Morning Gareth, I have just seen your posting and wondered if you would like to give me a call or send me your CV. I am a specialist H&S recruiter and may be able to offer some advice on how to move your career forward and potentially discuss some opportunites. The first poster is quite right in stating that you really need to be doing the job in some capacity to appreciate the demands of an H&S role. However, you do suggest that you have had some H&S responisibility in the past, so if you have good knowledge of a specific industry, say construction, are flexible over salary and location there will always be opportunties for enthusiatic and dedicated new comers.
