I'm a 28 year old graduate currently working for an online publisher, however I am wanting to leave this field for a job/career in health and safety. I have no qualifications or experience and am wondering how to get into the field. Can anyone please advise me what's the best the route, what training/qualifications to take, what to aim for and where. All advice is gratefully accepted. Thanks

Look towards the NEBOSH General certifacate as the starting point and then towards NEBOSH Dip 4 you will find plenty of info on the internet.
Good luck

You may want to consider the British Safety Council Awards Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health.
It is QCA accredited and meets the academic requirements for IOSH memebership at Technician grade and the IIRSM at Associate grade.
To get more details and download a specification free of charge, visit www.bscawards.org

Hi Bob,
Your still in your 20's, so if you can hack another 3 years at university, why not go for the BSc Safety, Health and Environmental Degree - Nottingham Trent would be a good bet!!
