Very low pay, for a Group Safety Advisor position!
I'd expect at least an extra 20k above your upper limit.
Peanuts and monkeys come to mind....?

I agree with the above respondant! 15 - 26K may, at the upper end, be reasonable for a person of 1 years post qualification experience - which is stated as the minimum requirement, but for a position of Group Advisor and the reposibilities involved Councils should be looking for more experience and therefore offer appropriate renumeration.
This low salary, get 'em if their desperate or looking for a second career is typical of many Councils, as a scan of SHP often shows, but it's about time that Councils woke up to their responsibilities. You can bet that someone with the minimum experience requested would only be offered at the lower end of the range. If they are serious about attracting quality candidates for senior safety jobs/positions they should get with the real world and offer decent packages.
Incidently, I left a L.A. 10 years ago when the salary was capped at not much less than the upper offer here. So that really puts this offer in perspective.
