Posted By Mark Bywater I am currently working for a large confectionery manufacturer in Yorkshire covering 3 separate sites. My role has become more admin orientated in the past few months due to retirements, interior moves and redundancies. This is NOT why I entered H&S, I can "fly a desk" but am more proactive than this. My manager has recently been on maternity leave for 7 months whereupon I stepped into the breach with a good deal of success. Covering 3 manufacturing sites on my own has been a monumental task but one which I have relished. Yes! There are only two of us in H&S, but it also includes Environment and Security too! I am now looking to spread my wings and will welcome interest from any parties looking to engage an enegetic 45 year old Tech SP. I am looking to progress my qualifications further but this has been stifled due to work committments. My experience is in engineering, risk assessment, site audits, training and accident investigations amongst others Due to family committments I would prefer to live in Yorkshire, but am prepared to travel nationwide for work.
