Background This role requires an experienced individual with a sound understanding of safety in the context of the construction of process plants. Suitable candidates are likely to have worked in similar roles in main contractor organisations operating in the process industries. Alternatively, they may have been employed in a similar role by a major operating company with a regular investment portfolio. Qualifications Technical or operational background with a formal engineering qualification at the HNC / BTec level being desirable. NEBOSH Diploma or demonstrable equivalent knowledge. Specific construction safety training highly desirable. Extensive experience in Process plant construction safety High degree of technical construction safety knowledge in relevant engineering disciplines. Practical experience in a similar role on a major process project. Detailed knowledge and practical experience of Construction Safety and the CDM regulations, particularly in the roles of Planning Supervisor / Principal Contractor.
