Our workload is varied in sectors such as national/local government, construction, rail, healthcare, defence, docks, nuclear and manufacturing. We have found over 10 staff with varying backgrounds and experience through this forum. We are supporting Scottish and Southern Energy [SSE] on their £100m+ Glendoe project in the Scottish Highlands. This exciting project will result in the first hydroelectric power station to be built in Scotland in 40 years, and involves the construction of a 1000m long and 35m high dam, 17km of tunnelled aqueducts dropping 600m to an underground power station beside Loch Ness. We are looking for a construction health and safety adviser to support our supervisory team of dams and tunnels experts. The successful candidate will be likely to have at least 5 years experience of construction, and minimum qualifications of the old NEBOSH Construction Certificate or Diploma Part 1, or equivalent. Experience of heavy civil engineering projects advantageous. An attractive package will be available to the right candidate. Posted By AlB Peter, Would love this kind of job, but it's just too damned far away!! In all honesty though, it looks like a very, very interesting project and would undoubtedly be extremely interesting. What remuneration are we talking about on this kind of work?
