Posted By Nick Tracey Safety & Risk Management have just celebrated our 10th anniversary, throughout the last 10 years we have had steady growth in in the business. Our team, which consists of both full time employees and associates, is facing a substantial increase in their workload in 2006, with many established clients renewing their contracts and new clients appointing SRM. We are looking for a Construction Health and Safety Advisor who has the usual construction experience plus any of the following Planning Supervision, Fit Out/Refurbishment, Training or Environmental Management experience. This role involves amongst other things undertaking site inspections and monitoring of contractor performance - where the practical application of health and safety on site is essential. We are heavily involved in Planning Supervision and this vacancy provides a great opportunity to those who wish to influence designers of structures and services. Travel is a feature of the post however the management of time will be in your hands. We are looking for someone who is both enthusiastic and practical, with sufficient passion and organisation to make a difference. You will need the ability to influence at site level and senior management level and you should have excellent communication skills including the ability to write clear, concise and accurate reports. Salary will be negotiable according to qualifications and experience. This job does not involve sales or business development targets. I HAVE BEEN A SAFETY REP FOR 2 YRS NOW WITHIN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY I HAVE A BUILDING TRADE BACKGROUND, THE NEBOSH GENERAL CERT. IM CURRENTLY TAKING THE DIPLOMA 4.IM YOUNG (25) AND ENTHUSIASTIC.
