DW, I used to work in Health and safety in Plymouth, until I was made redundant in August. 18 Years experience in Rail, Construction and Offshore, Dip 2 and MIOSH. Now working in Didcot. I'm afraid that sums it up for jobs in the Devon and Cornwall area, there aren't any.....
Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings. Best bet is registering with the agencies and hoping something comes up. It may eventually..... But it won't be that well paid......

Thanks John, do you know of any local agencies that may specialise in H and S in Plymouth?

Not really looking for mega bucks. Just something to survive.

Any other advice would be greafully appreciated.

DW,

Sitting in Crownhill as we speak mate, have you tried SSG (Plympton) or Noble (Ivybridge)two H&S / Training Consultancies based in GUZZ, usually on the lookout for staff.

Jobs in this part of the world are very few and far between and generally well below the national average for pay etc
