You will be visionary and be capable and confident in marketing how proactive occupational health and safety can make a significant difference to the working lives of Scottish Executive staff. You will provide professional expertise and vision to assist the Head of Corporate Responsibility devise; consult; implement and continually improve the Scottish Executives occupational health and safety management systems. The role will be challenging; interesting; varied and involve some travelling. You will have experience of project management; managing budgets and several years line management experience. Applicants must have a minimum of three years occupational health and safety experience and hold the Nebosh Diploma or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety. You should be pc literate, and as you will be interfacing with staff at many levels from a wide range of disciplines, you will have excellent interpersonal and self-management skills. It is expected you will also have good organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise work within set time scales.
