Posted By Steve Croasdale Nick You could try the Universities that cover the West Yorkshire region. A good point of contact would be the Course Directors at each uni, they usually announce vacancies to the class from time to time. They would probably give some direction of term times for different courses. Another avenue may be to send an email to the local IOSH branch secretary, who may announce your vacancy during their next meeting (26/1/06)? if you hurry. Hope this helps Regards Steve

Posted By Hazel Harvey Nick, The NEBOSH Diploma results are just out, but I guess most of these people are already employed so may not want work experience. You could also try the course tutors (details on the course listings on this web-site) and see if they have someone they can place. Under Graduates are a bit thin on the ground though and do get taking on quite quickly. Hazel Harvey Director of Professional Affairs

Posted By Robert Paterson Hi Nick It is god to see that your are actively seeking people for work experience. On the members forums I have been campaigning with IOSH to start a Register for Work Experience. Such a scheme would not only benefit new graduates trying to get a first step into Health and Safety but also assist you to find suitable persons to place. People like your self should try to join forces with IOSH and get this scheme of the ground. Although there have been nearly 3000 views on the posting only 45 responses, but that would show that there is interest in such a scheme and by judging the amount of postings on this forum it would appear that a lot are looking. Hope for the future I say. So come on IOSH lets get moving. Regards Robert Paterson CMIOSH
