Can anyone help?
My company is sponsoring me to do NVQ Level 4 in Health & Safety. I have been trying to find a college or centre in Surrey. Basingstoke has been recommended to me, but there is currently a waiting list of 6-8 months. Can anyone recommend a college or centre in Surrey

That is a new one to me. A waiting list to get onto the NVQ. I find it strange as you don't do it at the college but your place of work.

I can recommend doing the NVQ4 with Linda, a few of us at Airbus did ours with her company last year. We had great support throughout; our assessor was Dave Bristow.

NVQ is a very specialised course and for this to be effective a team of people are needed to facilitate the programme. BCS College are the largest in the Country at delivering NVQ qualifications in health and safety and this has largely occurred through reccomendation. They are also an accredited City & Guilds centre and have self certification status. They are based in Nottingham but they have District offices around the Country. I can strongly recommend BCS College, I have just completed my NVQ4 with them. They are very organised, provide great support and have all the training needed to supplement course-work if required. While attending I met H&S professional from all over the country.
