Posted By MMM I am currently working as Safety Officer and would like to complete the above course. My current job only permits that I do this course by distance learning or maybe part-time depending on the required attendance (I work in Holland). Here's my problem....I am ex army and am seeking to use my Enhanced Learning Credits to pay for the course fees, however, I am having problems locating course providers that are registered as Approved ELC training providers and provide this course........ Can anyone point me in the right direction or reccomend any training providers who can accomodate the above. I would like to do the training in the east midlands/midlands or failing that I am prepared to travel. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Regards, MMM

Posted By DW Try the ELCAS website they will have the names of all registered providers. I found that Integra may do distance learning and ELCAS funding is availible for their courses. Look on the ELCAS website and speak to the relevant person listed there. Good Luck

Posted By Howard As an alternative. Why not do the IEMA Core module with Bath University. Its a correspondence course which gives you associate membership of IEMA. Costs £625 and takes on average 3 months to complete at 7 hours per week.

Posted By Kevin Willis Try cambio environmental training. They advertise on their website that they are registered for ELC Scheme funding. Their main training base is in S. Wales, but they also deliver the Diploma for West Anglia Training Association at Huntingdon.
