Posted By Alyson Wilson We are looking at employing an OSHE Assistant which will be a 6 month short term contract. After this period it will be reviewed. The company is a manufacturing site based in Warrington. The site operates OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001. We are looking for some one to assist the Site OSHE Advisor to further develop the OSHE field on site. We are ideally looking for someone who is based in the North West with minimum qualifications of the NEBOSH Certificate or NEBOSH Diploma Part 1 and good IT skills. The role will entail Inspections, Audits, Risk Assessments, Task Hazard Analysis, Behavioural Safety and Safety Promotions etc. This would be an ideal opportunity for someone starting out in safety who has the enthusiasm and passion to promote health and safety and who is a very fast learner. The ability to work well as a team player and be a good communicator is essential. In the first instance, please email a copy of your CV to me: alyson.wilson@unilever.com

Posted By Alyson Wilson The package is currently being put together but please include current salary details in your CV. Although as I mentioned it will initially be a short term contract which will be reviewed after 6 months. I decided to post on the IOSH website as the first point of contact as from reading some of the postings there seems to be a lack of opportunity's for people to get a start in the profession. This role would ideally suit someone in the early stages of their career as we already have a fully qualified OSHE Advisor. There are responsibilities with the role, which will progress as the role develops.
