Posted By Alan Haynes My employer, South West Trains, has three posts available. All are based at the SWT HQ at Friars Bridge Court, close to Waterloo Station, London. Brief details of the posts are;- SENIOR AUDIT MANAGER:-- Reporting directly to the Head of Safety & Environment, the post holder is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the HQ Audit Team; predominantly for ensuring that a robust internal audit regime is implemented but also to monitor and audit the activities of third parties working for, or on behalf of, South West Trains. The primary function is the preparation and implementation of a safety and environmental audit strategy that will ensure that all significant risks to the business are audited on a regular basis and any non-compliances identified by such are closed out in a timely mannor. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day management and development of the HQ Audit Team -------------- SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT AUDIT MANAGER:-- Reporting to the Senior Audit Manager, the post holder is responsible for ensuring that a robust internal audit regime is developed and implemented within the Company, and for monitoring and auditing the activities of third parties working for, or on behalf of, South West Trains. The primary function is the implementation of a safety and environmental audit strategy that will ensure that all significant risks to the business are audited on a regular basis and any non-compliances identified and closed out in a timely manor. -------------------- LEGISLATION & STANDARDS MANAGER (Safety and Environment):-- This person will provide a competent source of information into general safety and environmental issues, relevant to SWT’s activities. With particular expertise and experience in the application of environmental legislation and risk assessments, this person will be required to ensure that SWT maintains a compliant Railway Safety Case/Safety Certificate along with supporting safety and environmental management systems.
