Posted By 9-Ship 2 days week for £12000 p.a. By my calculations,(assuming a 48 week working year)thats 96days. Thats £125 as a daily consultancy rate. Doubt if you would get that many commercial consultancies interested at that rate. WOuld have thought even single man consultancies would be looking for £200/250 per day + expenses. Larger consultancies probably looking for £400 per day

Posted By Peter Taylor14 Could anyone do what is being asked in 16 hours per week and for £12000? Just the training issue alone, taking into account travel and preparation is impossible. Is this a genuine post???

Posted By David West Thanks for the comments, this is indeed a genuine post, £30,000 pro rata for a regional based position has been enough to attract 11 applicants in the first 4 hours so cannot be that unreasonable. As to the training comment all current staff already have CIEH basic so we envisage about one course a month with 6 hours teaching time and having taught CIEH course for many years it is not that onerous at basic level -regards David West
