Posted By Glyn Atkinson Look on a brighter side - many on this forum are looking for first time jobs with NO experience of working life - your experience is current and if the job loss occurs, it won't have been anything that you could personally have prevented, so would not count against you. As I have said in other threads, perhaps a period of agency or contract work to build up different types of location and work experiences in varying sectors would be valuable. If you have any practical experience in work sectors that would favour you, then go for jobs in that area to give yourself a better chance of knowing the industry. Whatever happens, the best of luck - been there, know what it's like -273 applications in a 100 mile radius while contracting or in short fixed term employments over 18 months to get my current post, so don't give up !!

Also I suggest that you indicate where you are currently located, and how you feel about relocation. Finally, if you make your email address visible you are more likely to get requests for your CV.
