Posted By 9-Ship Sorry I have experience in both these fields, but no application from me on that pay scale. Plus £10k and I might.

Posted By Gary May Thanks for your interest and feeback for this position – The scale is a career grade within the Local Authority.

Posted By The toecap No disrespect to anybody but, 'you get what you pay for'. The council needs to re think its scales of pay

Posted By Gary May Safety Officers never get offended – do they? I am a qualified safety and CC professional, and not everyone is driven the same way - my own drivers are not pure financial. I strongly dispute however the “get what you pay for” – as I presume you are a taxpayer who demands best value from your Local Authority, and also reassurance that everything reasonably practicable will be delivered by your Local Council in the event of an emergency as defined by the CCA 2004.
