There are lots and lots of Health Physics jobs on the net, Please tell me, what does this have to do with you ? what is your point and did you ask Mr Ray's permission to advertise his name and number on this site, someone from Africa might be calling him now!!
You are right when you say there is a risk to privacy on this site snt.

What I have only done is to give the job's specification and to make such job posting more specific. Rather than this forum users sending their CVs for jobs that they are not interested in. As to asking Mr Ray's permission, this job is advertised on jobcentre plus.
As to Africa, this is quite derogatory as scams are not specific to one geographical location. IOSH cut across the globe, and we should not label anybody. Like I have been campaining for job postings should have the company name or the agency name and contact details. How am I to know that the person I am sending my CV to is not a scammer? Like I asked you before to give me your company name, which you said I should email you. Idon have to email you. If the job is genuine, advertise the details on board. "Email me for details" are boys scout tactics. Try this website http://www.iqa.org/information. This is how job postings should be.

Hi that phone number is a genuine company number with a genuine job postings. Your email address is a yahoo address, and this is prefered email for scammers from Africa, Type "Yahoo boys" on google. So for a job postings like yours to have a yahoo might have come from Africa. You must have got my message and what I am trying to prevent. If you must advertised for job, do it in a proper way. Give the full details, or setup an employment agency and let job seekers deal with your company directly. A company can be sued for discrimination, but yahoo.com employer can not be sued as we are not even sure the person is real.

As to data protection. Anything in public is for public consumptions. It is only data, hence job postings with name, contact details could not be under data protection. Moreover, genuine HR dept knows how to handle such risks. Get real and address the real issue of scanty job posting details that I for one can classified as fishy. Please estableshed a recruitment agency.

You are correct in stating that anything put on a public forum is for public consumption, however the "position" content you published was done without permission from the owner - thus contravening the dxata protection act.
Whilst the "position" may well be advertised in the Job Centre, it was done so with the consent of the owner, it does not give you the right to plaster the same said info all over the internet, irrespective whether the position is "fishy" or nor, or even whether the site is legitimate or not.

One thing that still amazes me with the responses I get is that the real issue is still not addressed, I have only asked whether it is the same job. I have only make the job clearer to people otherwise who would have applied and send their CVs to yahoo.co.uk (yahoo boys) thinking they are applying for legimate job posting. As to the data, I might with hindsight removed the name from it. As to the legal implication, data protection act have not in any way been broken. No email or address have been given, and there is more to data protection breach than you people are suggesting. H&S law does not make us a lawyer. At least people know how much the job is paying and what it entails.
The real issue is the full job description and contact. Is PST an employer or in position to employ people? What if he/she discrimate against my CV on racial ground. What redress have I got against him/her?
Part time employment should not be encouraged.
