Posted By chrisz I am trying to find out which sectors of industry (I.E. construction, Oil & Gas, etc) employ the most Health & Safety profesionals. I would be very pleased to hear from anyone who knows this, or anyone who can point me in the right direction so I can research this. Many thanks.

Posted By Raymond Rapp Chris I suspect that construction would be the largest. My guess for the others is probably no better than yours. I would think that the information you require would only be available from a select group of organisations e.g. IOSH, IIRSM, HSE & TUC. You might like to contact these to see if they can help. Regards Ray

Posted By DP I agree with Raymond that it’s probably construction but keep an eye on logistics and transport. The accidents and deaths in the sectors are catching up with construction. Went to an IOSH Seminar yesterday and the HSE are going to be focusing on the movement of goods in this sector. Check out the website.
