I am taking the NEBOSH Certificate exam on 08/09/06 having funded the cost myself.
I am seeking an entry level position in the H & S field. I am a Joiner by trade but have decided on a total career change. I have worked in an "unofficial" capacity as a H & S co-ordinator/focal person and have extensive site experience, 3 of which have been at varying levels of supervisory. I reside in East Yorkshire and am willing to travel UK wide.

Prior to my detailed work history I was generally self- employed or sub contract ( CIS4 ) working on different sites as and where needed.
I am a FIRAS trained fire door installer. I have a current CSCS card. I have undertaken courses on lifting tackle inspection and Safe operation of Overhead cranes. I have attended and undertaken a great number of induction briefings on a number of different types of sites.

I am currently studying for the NEBOSH certificate at Hull College and sit my exam in September 2006. I am confident of passing.

I intend a total career change and wish to advance in the field of Health & Safety. I understand and appreciate that I will probably begin with an entry level position and progress from this, which is not a problem.

I am available either for an informal chat or an in-depth interview at short notice.
