1156 views and only 7 responses. Only very few enquiries for further information.

I should read something into that. Should I change my career???

Might go into investment Banking instead. Probably get more interest in my CV. (BUMP)

I require x8 Health and Safety contractors to work for a blue chip consulting firm. Independent or working in a team is fine. You will delivery H&S Audits to there client base across the UK (South to North).

You must be security cleared due to the nature of the clients.

£200-£400 per day + reasonable expenses.

Urgent requirements!

Please send CV’s ASAP to o.jobling@rcs-corp.co.uk

What do you mean by "security cleared"? I presume that since I'm asking, I won't be!

Alan,

In answer to your question should I change my career, I would offer the following advice.

It is clear that you have a multitude of experience to offer a prospective employer, however, the simple maths may put some people off.

You have experience in almost 7 different roles or sectors aswell as taking the time to complete a degree (either full time or part time) and you are still only in your late 20's. This tells me you have either not stayed in each role for very long or you have limited experience in each role. Either way i dont think it sells you in the best possible way. Might be better off focusing your efforts in a particular area. Just an idea. Hope this has helped in some way. Not saying it the right way, just my opinion.

Regards,
MMM

MMM.

Very fair comment and one that I have been conscious about.

I should probablty change the desription a bit.

Nearly 9 years experience in Industry, 5 of which in H&S, 2 in Operations and 2 in Consultancy. Was offered Operations due to my success within H&S (I know - doesn't quite make sense but that's what the boss wanted!).

Not studying for a degree. It's a Certificate by distance learning which means I put up some evenings and weekends to do the work. Lot of work, but required for my continuing development. My experience in the different sectors has come through the same employer due to the variety of sectors they work in.

My experience and capability has earned me a place within a group of 5 people working with the Group's SHE Director to review, develop and implement Group HSE standards (bearing in mind the Group employs over 8000 people through 4 business streams consisting of over 14 business disciplines).

Yes, I'm still only late 20's, but have a fair bit to offer, as well as a heck mof a lot to learn.

AlB
