Posted By Smith1967 Hello all ,
I have just been infomred that the factory I work at will be closing in 2007. I have been offered a budget of £1000 to spend on any training I require.
I have been an Occupational Health and Safety professional in manufacturing for over 5 years and have the following qualifications NTU Diploma Safety Health and Environment BSc Hons Quality Management HNC Quality Management
Could anybody advise how I could utilise this training budget in order to maximise my chances of continuing to develope my career. I was think of a lead assessors course ? or a training qualification ? or maybe some construction qualification ? thanks in advance
Dave

Posted By MetalMan You might want to consider the CIEH Train the Trainer qual. It's about delivering training packages etc. It5 also enables you to carry out training of CIEH accredited courses within your field of expertise, provided you are registered with CIEH. Most local colleges run the course. For more info see the CIEH website.

Depending what you want to do in the future, how about a management qualification? Certificate in management or similar? This could work well coupled with your safety quals.
All the best
