I have recently successfully passed the Nottingham Trent Professional Diploma in Safety, Health and Environmental Management. I have already gained the NEBOSH Gen cert, IOSH Managing Safely, a degree in Food Science/Ergonomics/Safety and am looking for my a career as a junior Health & Safety officer. I have over 5 years experience as a safety representative for my department and an observer of safe and unsafe acts. I am keen and eager to learn and develop. If anybody has any information to help me on my path then please contact me. I am currently Tech IOSH memebr soon to be upgraded to Grad IOSH level.

Have you tried looking at the SHP web site at www.shponline.co.uk ?

While most vacancies do require experience, I did see one this month for an agency / consultancy that I'm sure specified beginner.
