Hello
I am currently working as a risk manager, but have been wanting to teach health and safety for a long time, as I am very unhappy in my current job, can anyone point me in the right direction as to what path I need to take.

Hi Sian,I have the same eventual ambition.I think to get useful advice you need to post what qualifications you hold now so people can gauge what level you are at at present before they offer advice,

There are many consultancies and companies which specialise in safety training. You could either contact one direct or see what is the basic requirements in a job description for a safety trainer.

Sian
Get City and Guilds cert in teaching further education, this will help in getting a teaching /training post. You can usually do this at your local tech college

Can you not teach to your existing staff and gain the confidence in the first instance but also use it to further your career
