Posted By John Mac Carthy Good Morning fellow colleagues I have a colleague who has asked me to enquire about the best means to gain employment in Ireland as a HSE or H&S practitioner. I am hoping that I may be able to gain some useful information to facilitate their decision. I would like details on the following: (1) Good places to find H&S/HSE work – agencies, membership bodies etc (2) Typical salary rates (3) Sources of H&S information I would be grateful with any information you can provide and I have enclosed my email details for privacy and details to be forwarded. I recently started out in the field after completing a degree in ENvironmental HEalth.
From my very limited experience, it seems that the job websites such as monster.ie and irishjobs.ie have a fair few H+S jobs. From here you can see typical salary ranges, which obviously depend on experience and qualifications, but usually for someone with 3+ experience there looking at between 35-45K euro.
