I am looking for and offshore safety role, I have 18 months drilling/rigging/HP/UHP water jetting experience and I am looking for my first safety role.

I have the HNC Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Management, which is equivalent to NVQ 3 level, also have a current medical (valid until 2009, just did it so the new 2 year rule does not apply), BOSIET (runs out in April, so that will be something to look forward to).

I have worked on semi subs, platforms and a FPSO.

For a detailed CV please email me.

Thanks David,
I am already registered with both oilcareers and oilandgasjobsearch.com.
I have only just recently began to gain offshore experience and if i am successful in finding a position it would be my first full time safety role, so i guess this will be the most difficult job to get.

Hello William!

From my experience (recruitment) you may find it easier getting an onshore HSE role with some offshore work involved. That way you can gradually gain experience.

Cheers,

JM

Hi William.

I suggest you become involved within the Safety Constituency on your installation - become a Safety representative if vacancy exists. This will allow training opportunities and exposure to EHS infrastructure with Duty Holder.

Regards
Alan Wilson
