Hi

I am looking for a permanent position with H&S responsibilities, within a 50 mile radius of Cardiff, South Wales.

I am currently employed as a part time H&S Officer for a private training provider and a Training and Development Advisor for the rest of my time.

My experience in H&S is varied and in my current role I am not only responsible for internal H&S, but also for all of our government funded learners. This at present includes over 200 sites throughout Mid, West and South East Wales.

I am an experienced accident investigator, having to report to The Welsh Assembly Government(WAG)within a strict timescale.

Since my appointment in February 2005, I have made improvements to the failing H&S systems of the company and seen a two point increase in our grading from WAG, thereby considerably increasing our skills contract.

I am a CIEH approved tutor for Level 2 Award in H&S, Principles of COSHH and Principles of Manual Handling.

I have recently sat NEBOSH General certificate and will gain results in February. I have completed CIEH Risk Assessment, with a Credit Pass, and am currently on the final year of a BA(Hons)Post Compulsory Education and Training.

If anyone can help or point me in the right direction, I would be most grateful.

Dear Alison

Best of luck with the search.

On this forum it is not permitted for people to mention a job vacancy; people who have vacancies are asked to make direct contact with those who are seeking work.

They cannot do this if you have chosen not to reveal your e-mail address. It might therefore be to your advantage to reveal it.
