I was just wondering how long it takes to complete the Nebosh Cert and how much this costs.

depends which provider you use and what route you take. Can take 1 year doing 1 night a week, or you can do it by block release taking 10 days. Though you may be constrained by the relatively few examination dates that NEBOSH run.
Best advice is to contact a loacl H+S training provider for help Im sure they will work out what is best for you

In addition to the above quality information, unless you have a bit of knowledge the 10 day intensive may be a bit much unless your exam memory recall is excellent.I would confidently say the most popular method is around the 3 month mark with exams at the end, this would be one day per week for 10 - 12 weeks. Cost varies hugely depending on the provider, local colleges usually manage to provide this course more cost effectively than most, but not always.

one more thing if when I finish this generally how long would it take me to complete my NEBOSH dipoma after this and is this available to do in Ireland

Yes it is available in Ireland; timing wise it could take you around a 12 month, perhaps longer depending on method to complete. Don't compare it to the certificate though; whilst a credible qualification the diploma takes it to another level indeed.

I did the NEBOSH Gen last year at the local tech, 1 day a week for 12 weeks and then 2 exam days. It cost £900 which I found reasonable.
