Jason,

Where do you want to sit your NEBOSH ? I can offer several options, and I am based in Grimsby.

However, I can also offer distance learning

Try Greenwich Community College. It is the cheapest one that we have found anywhere in London.

Hi, my name is michael, I would like to ask about the nebosh international general certicate and the difference between, IOSH managing safely, I'm currently working offshore as an Hydrogen Sulfide Consultant. And I would like to advance my career as safety officer on the drilling rig which some drilling company, requires a nebosh certificate. Am I on the right track? and which is the course appropriate is it the nebosh certicate or the iosh? could you give me some advise on this. Thank you and would appreciate your information.

The very cheapest option is to self-study. There are plenty of centres who will allow you to sit the exam without doing their course. The exam fee is £90 (all three papers). The centre I used (Coleg Llandrillo in North Wales) did not charge me anything to sit the exam.

I did buy some examiners reports from Nebosh, but got most study material from the internet.

I would say this is only an option for people who are pretty well up to speed with health and safety already.

Note, I've not had my results yet.
